Our Story

Murray’s Modernized Furnishings was founded in July of 2023 with a clear purpose: to build a company rooted in craftsmanship, integrity, and respect for both clients and team members.

After years of experience in both painting and hospitality management, our founder, Pat, recognized the value of combining hands-on craftsmanship with a strong commitment to service. What began as a personal passion for creating beautiful, well-finished spaces evolved into a business dedicated to providing the highest level of care, quality, and professionalism to homeowners throughout Yavapai County.

Today, Murray’s Modernized Furnishings continues to grow through the support of our community and the dedication of our skilled team. We are proud to modernize and transform homes one project at a time, while fostering a work environment built on respect, accountability, and pride in our craft.

Pat- Owner/Operator

As owner of Murray’s Modernized Furnishings, Pat oversees project standards, process development, and client experience from start to finish. His leadership ensures every project meets the company’s fine-finish expectations, with an emphasis on clear communication, craftsmanship, and respect for the client’s home.

John- Finisher

John joined our team in the fall of 2024 and quickly distinguished himself through his work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn. While relatively new to the trade, his ambition and dedication allowed him to rapidly develop into a highly skilled fine finisher. An Arizona local, John is known for his positive energy, reliability, and willingness to take pride in every project. You may even catch him dancing while he works!

Dillon- Finisher

Dillon joined Murray’s Modernized Furnishings in the fall of 2025, bringing over a decade of experience as a journeyman painter. He quickly adapted his skill set to meet the high standards of fine finishing, becoming an indispensable part of the team. An Arizona native, Dillon is known for his upbeat attitude, professionalism, and respectful approach on every job site
